Mr Bean and Tooth Extraction

You may think that by the title, these things could not be any more different, but in fact they both link together perfectly for me today.

So, this Tuesday I’m getting my brackets put on my teeth before thy put my braces on Thursday. And because I have a crowded jaw, they had to remove a few teeth, and I found out that they only needed to remove one. I went to the dentist today to get a tooth removed. I thought that the needle would hurt and I found it really scary as you can tell by my post about my injections at school.
My dentist noticed after they gave me the anaesthetic that I was slightly scared by the procedure, so he put on a movie for me-

Mr. Bean to be exact.

So my dentist put on the movie and straight away I started cracking up laughing. It was the episode (or movie) when he meets the Queen and head bangs her. I tried not to laugh throughout this whole thing. I thought it was a mistake that he put on Mr Bean- I mean, he could’ve put anything on!
My dad was sitting in one of those waiting chairs in the same room and was laughing his head off, you could practically see his head on the floor- still laughing. I tried so hard not to laugh while he was putting the numbing needles in my mouth, but I shook a bit, making it hurt a bit more than necessary.

After he extracted the adult tooth, I couldn’t feel a thing as my mouth was still numb. When I smiled, only the right side of my mouth lifted up. When I drank something, one side was actually gtting something, whilst the other side let everything slip. It was amusing to people watching me, but personally, I didn’t enjoy it very much.

I hope you like this slight rant post.
